Introduction
In Kreo 2D Takeoff, you have the choice of 2 features for pasting measurements to the position/sheet you need:
Simple pasting for measurements
Pasting measurements with snapping
Let's explore both the options in detail.
Paste measurements
Description: Simple pasting option which is familiar to all of us.
Shortcut → Ctrl/Command + V
Copy your measurement first, select the relevant page/place on the same drawing, right click and choose the "Paste" option from the Context menu.
Paste with snapping to a point
Description: Use the "Paste with a point" feature, when you copy or cut measurements and need to paste them onto another page or to any other position within the same page.
Shortcut → Ctrl/Command + Shift + V
Copy your measurement first, select the relevant page/place on the same drawing, right click and choose the "Paste with a point" option from the Context menu.
📝 Note:
The "Paste with a point" feature works both once and several times for a single copied item.
When you cut the cell with the measurement data inside and paste it onto another page, the data is dynamically linked.
