The 'One-click Line' is an advanced AI tool that allows you to instantly create precise linear measurements on drawings with a single click.
Currently in beta.
Works similarly to ‘One-Click Area’ - a tool to instantly create polygon measurements.
How it works
1. Select ‘One-Click Line’ from the toolbar.
2. Click on the element where you'd like to build a line.
Note❗
One-Click Line is sensitive to the exact point where you click.
Let’s take a wall as an example:
If you click on one side of the wall, the tool will create a line along that side.
If you click inside the wall, the line will be created there instead.
3. Proceed building your line by clicking on the linear elements. A continuous line will be created.
Note❗
You don’t need to click specifically on adjacent elements (e.g., walls). By clicking on any element, you're instructing the tool to automatically create the shortest path to it (for example, along connecting walls).
4. If the tool captures extra length, you can place a negative point on the part of the line you'd like to exclude.
5. Once you've achieved the desired result, press Enter or click the 'Create' button.
Settings for One-Click Line
When working with the One-Click Line tool, it can be helpful to enable the 'Point On Line' snapping option to make placing points on linear elements easier.
