Rename with AI is an intelligent feature that significantly simplifies project navigation. Instead of renaming pages manually, you can trust AI to do it. When you upload drawings, the system automatically analyzes text and title blocks to determine the drawing type and suggest meaningful names. This is especially useful when original PDFs have inconsistent names or are simply numbered (1, 2, 3, etc.).
Navigate to the project page and open the File Manager. You will notice that the AI has already analyzed the pages and suggested new, more accurate names directly below their original names.
To apply these new names to all document pages in one click, open the Rename with AI dropdown menu at the top of the screen (next to the file name) and select Apply all AI names.
If you are already working with an open drawing, simply right-click the page tab in the top panel and select Rename with AI.
A menu will open in the left panel, where the AI will suggest up to three different name options for the current sheet. Select the most suitable option and click the Rename button.
1. Go to the project page, open the File Manager, locate the ‘Rename with AI’ button and select “Rename with AI”.
2. The AI will automatically suggest naming improvements based on the text provided on the pages.
3. If you’re not satisfied with the auto-renaming, you can type in a precise request. For example, you can specify the name format (“Floor XX, where XX is...”), ask the AI to search for relevant text on the pages, or provide a command like: “rename pages according to the drawing title". Then click 'Improve'.
You can enter your request in any language.
4. Validate the results of renaming:
If further adjustments are needed, provide the feature with another prompt. For example, commands like “uppercase only”, “provide more details”, etc.
You can also manually edit the name of each page.
AI can only extract information from the drawing if there is text content. If there is no text or the text is embedded as geometry, the AI will not be able to read it.
5. Click ‘Apply’ to confirm the result and have your pages renamed.
